For its second year, Frieze New York, a cross-Atlantic spin-off of the original London-based Frieze Fair, has set itself up on Randall's Island, drawing together the art world's old standbys and young upstarts under one roof -- or rather, a specially commissioned tent erected across the river from East Harlem. Over the course of the three-day long fair, over 180 galleries will be exhibiting works in addition to an outdoor sculpture park, a who's who of artists talks, and a selection of food stands catered by leading restauranteurs including L.E.S. staple Mission Chinese and the Williamsburg favorite Marlow and Sons.
